Who is this workshop for?

• For shibari couples who want to learn photography and lighting (Order this workshop)
  • Together, you will create a shibari session in various configurations and learn to work with lighting, camera and setting.

 

• For people who come alone as a photographer (not as a rigger) and want to learn art photography and lighting (Order The workshop Photographer without model)
  • You will learn how to work with lighting, cameras and settings, and you will be able to photograph FranckStunn’s demo sessions.
  • It is more of a technical course that is less hands-on.
  • You may not photograph the other couples unless you have their permission.

1 Day workshop

• A unique photography workshop dedicated to the art of shibari.
  • With attention on safety in a shabari session while taken pictures
• This event is open to everyone – no prior photography experience required
• Work with all types of light:
  • Natural daylight
  • Simple “Ikea” household lamps and more
  • LED lights and more
• We are going to learn how to control the light.
  • With reflectors
  • With screens and others
• Technique and setting
  • Understand the light, the light color, camera settings, setup, framing and more
  • There will be dark, light and white settings, giving you the opportunity to learn about all types of lighting and settings.
• Vision and style
  • Discover the essentials of framing, settings, and composition to create unique moods and powerful images.
  • How to see the light and how to use it
  • Use it creatively, and adapt to different atmospheres.
  • You may use the various settings to create a shibari session. This is according to your own level and experience. (as long as it is safe)
  • How can we photograph the model in a powerful and mysterious way?

Requested

Rigger

• You must be able to make a good and safe TK (if you will do suspensions)
• You must have experience with suspensions (if you will do suspensions)
• You must have good communication and rope
• You must have good rope handling

Model

• Good communication with the rigger
• You have experience with suspensions (if you will do suspensions)
• Please wear easy-fitting clothes.

What to bring

• 10 to 14 jute ropes of about 8 m.
• Several short ropes 1, 2 , 3 , 4 m (If you do not have these you can purchase them on site. Please indicate this in advance.)
• 4 to 6 carabiners
• Your energy and creativity

  • He is a professional photographer and artist
  • He has been very active in shibari for more than 8 years.
  • He has been teaching intensive shibari classes at different levels for more than 4 years.
  • He attended international workshops of the following styles; Yukimura Ryu, Ropunawa, Naka, Seme nawa, Ren Yagami, Kinbaku and many more styles
  • He specialises in sensual, erotic as well as dominant and sadistic shibari styles.
  • Connection, communication, energy exchange are most important to him.

  • She has been active as a rope bottom for more than 3 years and this with several international riggers.
  • Her experience with different tops and styles is the perfect base for feedback and information to share with other rope bottoms.
  • She loves sadic ropes, semenawa, erotic and sensual play.
  • Because she is very emotionally expressive, she can easily share her emotions that are created during a session.
