connection in rope and shibari

Connection in shibari makes your session more intense

Connection in shibari

When you practice shibari for the first time, you are overwhelmed by all kinds of feelings. Rope is a unique experience. It triggers feelings you never had before, it stuns you, it encompasses you, it restricts you or maybe even frees you.

The connection in rope is the extra dimension that allows you to go even further. The connection almost makes you disappear in the session. You enter a bubble and forget everything around you.

Shibari is intoxicating and certainly addictive.

But to master shibari properly, you need technique. And in the beginning, technique can be a hindrance in the session. If the rigger is more concerned with knots and figures, he may forget his model. This leaves a lot of emotions and energy to be exchanged.

The rigger will sweat when thinking about knots and figures and forget about the model. This is completely understandable in the beginning.

Through simple techniques and simple exercises, we teach you how to build up a session properly and how to make the connection between rigger and model from the beginning (and that is before you use a rope).

Our workshop connection goes deeper into the energy exchange between model and rigger. The attention for each other, the intention and the guidance through body language, energy, intentions, movements and so much more. Highly recommended for beginners and advanced riggers who want to rig more intensively and get more out of their session.
